We have over 60 feet of lake front that is accessible by a gentle 5 minute walk along a path. Stairs down the dune to our beach will be completed in the summer of 2018.

The open kitchen, dining room, and living room open up on a large deck with a majestic view of Lake Michigan.

You will find the three main floor bedrooms behind the dining room.



A second living room is separated by a door from the kitchen. Night owls can talk in here without disturbing anyone sleeping on the main floor. You'll find a wide selection of games and puzzles. There is also a TV, a Blu-Ray player, and a selection of movies.




The cottage has two full baths and a laundry room on the main floor.

Bedroom 1 has a queen bed.

Bedroom 2 has a double bed and a twin bed.

Bedroom 3 has a twin bunk bed and a twin.

Master bedroom and bath

The master bedroom has queen bed and a double futon. There is also a large walk-in closet with room for more mattresses or a cradle (there currently isn't a cradle available here).

This bedroom offers panoramic views of Lake Michigan from its array of windows.

You'll find a large Tyrrell and Laing soaking tub and a heated floor in the master bath.






The bathroom also contains a walk-in shower.

Details (in brief)

We have 4 bedrooms and 3 full baths, a fully equipped kitchen, a large deck with a spectacular view as well as seating and a gas grill, and 65 feet of Lake Michigan waterfront that is just a short walk away. You are welcome to bring kayaks and small sailboats, though you will need to use the public boat launch a few miles to the south.

The cottage currently has beds for 10, plus 2 futons, 1 sleeper sofa, an additional futon mattress, an additional twin mattress, and an inflatable queen mattress. There are two separate living rooms with plenty of seating. The master bath includes a large soaking tub and a heated floor.

In case of rain, we have DSL, a 55" TV with a blue ray player and a decent collection of DVDs, scores of puzzles, and a variety of games (both American and German style games).

Within a short drive you will find golf courses, dune rides and dune buggy rentals, the Montague to Hart Scenic Bike Trail, dune hiking at Silver Lake State Park, Country Dairy for tours and ice cream, Lewis Family Farm, two wineries, Cherry Point Market for fish boils and a lavender maze, and a collection of small restaurants and grocery stores.

Note that there are a few stairs to enter the cottage, so it may not be suitable for some people.
